Carriage Methods
At VDC our practice is to process and despatch orders as quickly as possible. Stock permitting, orders received before 5:00pm are delivered the following working day.
The carriage method chosen can make a big difference to how quickly and efficiently you receive your order. Please consider all the options carefully.
Carriage charges will be added at cost - either courier or post dependant on weights and dimensions.
By courier:
We have all experienced poor and unreliable service from couriers in the past.
This has always caused enormous frustration for both our customers and ourselves.
It is singularly the most consistent problem we have encountered. Consequently we have worked very hard
to resolve this issue so we can now offer our customers a reliable courier service. We believe
that we have finally found carriers that will provide the same high quality service as we do.

By post: UNREGISTERED: Up to 2 kilos: Our customers generally use the postal service for small non-urgent parcels, as delivery cannot be guaranteed. We also cannot offer proof of delivery with this service.

By post: REGISTERED: Up to 2 Kilos: This service does offer proof of delivery.
Exports: International Freight prices are based on weight and urgency. VDC have negotiated excellent rates with several major freight forwarders, which we pass on at cost. Consignments to mainland Europe take between 1 and 5 working days depending on the country. The carriage charge for any international destination will be estimated at the time of the enquiry.
Prices: All prices shown in this catalogue and any quotes for goods or services exclude carriage and VAT. Whilst VDC endeavours to maintain prices, fluctuations outside of our control do occur. In the event of this, the customer will be informed at the time of ordering.
